The audible CLICK means the refill has been activated and sealed against leakage. With VORTEX, get up to 60 days of powerful fragrance that fights odor at the source. Just set it and forget it! The passive system does not require batteries or any other power source to operate. Fragrance covers up to 6,000 cubic feet, or an average 2-3 stall restroom. Refills are VOC compliant and made in the U.S.A.
